SALES | In our sales department, you have the option of working on the field sales team or the in-house sales team. Our customers include the top industrial and retail companies worldwide.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT | At Transporeon and Mercareon, we develop software using the Spring Framework in Java and utilize agile software development as part of the Scrum method. We use GWT and git in IntelliJ to carry out behavior-driven development. Conversely, our Ticontract modules are developed in C# and Python. Subversion and ReSharper are used in this process.
INFRASTRUCTURE | Our system administrators are contact partners for our internal customers and their responsibilities include the installation of servers and operation of live platforms for our customers.
ADMIN | Accounting, Controlling, HR, Purchasing, Administrative Assistants... There are also many job opportunities in our administrative departments.
PROJECTS | The main task in the Projects department is the completion of customer projects. Customer workshops on the adoption of actual processes are carried out and customer requirements are drafted. Finally, the projects are implemented and supervised internally.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT | Our international customers are currently supported in over 24 languages in our Customer Care, Customer Service, Carrier Support and Shipper Consulting departments. The respective departments differ in their focus and in the type of customer support they provide.

By the end of 2009 I was looking for a job opportunity here in the most wonderful city in the world, my hometown, Ulm. Honestly I had not heard anything about Transporeon so far, but they were looking for an IT Project Manager with French skills. I loved the job from day one and I did not regret my decision so far! After 1,5 years I was promoted and became one of the Team Leaders within the Projects department. Due to organizational changes and the fast growth of Transporeon the position of the Head of Projects became vacant and, instead of hiring an external candidate with more experience in leadership, the management trusted me and I took over the responsibility for the Projects department in January 2012.

In 2005, I was employed by Transporeon for the new position as Project Manager which was created in order to guarantee full support of shippers during the processing phase of a project. From 2008 until the end of 2014, I held the role as team leader of a project team in addition to the role as Project Manager. Since the beginning of 2015, I have taken over the position as Project Consultant - apart from my role as Project Manager - in order to upskill further.
